Shimano M161 Shoe
The M161 shoe is
designed as a mid-level mountain bike shoe that is ideal for the MTB
enthusiast or the competitive cyclist. With a carbon composite sole that
offers a stiff platform under power, you will find yourself riding for
longer and harder without getting that "hot spot" under your foot.
Unlike full-on race shoes however, the M161 utilises a
rubber outer sole that gives a bit more flexibility and grip when you
have to jump off the bike and push up that steep climb.
The micro-adjust buckle and offset straps make up the same closure
system found on the high-end M310. The buckle allows
for precise adjustments and the offset straps securely holds the foot in
place without pinching. A shock absorbing, cushioned insole offers long
ride comfort.
