Please check here from now to see whether the Tuesday night rides are on or not. The ride's are designed to bring people together for a fun night ride. Riding in the rain is not fun for most, nor is it beneficial. I understand that for many this is the only ride you get during the week and so to miss it is disappointing. The rides will only be cancelled if rain is predicted, this will be decided by myself after consulting with Jo and Snoz on the day. This is a temporary decision that will only be applied over the next 1-2 months to get through winter. A YES or NO along with date will be posted in a reply IN THIS THREAD every Tuesday before 4:00PM . Thank you for your understanding. Brad |

Riding in the rain in winter is definitely not fun and no good for the bike either... Tomorrow night could be touch and go considering the forecast (looks ordinary for the rest of the week to be honest). Tuesday: Cloud increasing. Rain developing late afternoon and evening. Winds north to northwesterly averaging up to 60 km/h with stronger squalls. City Windy. Late rain. Min 13 Max 17 Will wait for a post here to confirm the ride. |

Looking forward to the ride tomorrow night. Should be good weather if not a little cold. Hopefully the tracks have dried out after last weeks rain.

Hey J-Rod The tracks are in very good condition.. thanks to the crew who rocked up to put in the hard work at the working bee on the weekend. There has been a cool track change done to Hug Trail (close to 24hr car park) due to a tree fall & also the close-off of the main track to force people to use the satelite track (between Cloverdale & south break) until its fix. Cool Wayne thanks for that. I had a wedding over the weekend so I didnt get to ride (or help with trailbuilding) apart about an hour and half early on Saturday morning in the rain. I stuck mainly to the firetrails though, in order to avoid getting completely flithy, didnt work though!!! I had to move some large fallen trees while I was out there also. Ham, the ride leaves from Trailmix at 6:30pm (at Lysterfield), always happy to have new riders join the group. |
