Anyone interested in doing the Melbourne - Sorrento return ride? Approx 200km. Its a long story, but I wont be able to access the transport option for the 100km Sorrento to Melbourne so this is my best bet... Quite a challenge also!

Hey Wayne, myself and a couple of friends would be doing the 100km Sorrento>Melb on roadie and have signed up for the transport option (4.30am leaving Melb! And I would be finishing work at 12am!). Also just received the jersey pack yesterday. Shoot me an email eether@yahoo.com . Hope to catch up with you there. Jarrod, I have another bunch of friends who are doing the 'unofficial Around the Bay 210km' Melb>Queenscliff>Sorrento>Melb for the 3rd year already. They have organised their own skipper and a boat that can fit I think 25 people. I believe it's only $25 you have to pay for the boat the rest you can make your own donation to the MS foundation. Shoot me an email if you would like me to hook you up. They are interested in looking for people to join. |

I have signed up for the Sorrento to Melbourne 100km option. To get to the bus I have to ride from my house at 5am. Lucky for the Ay-ups! |

J-Rod! This is good news. glad your going to be joining us. Just to let you all know, from past experience it might be best if we all meet up at the corner of Coppin Rd and Point Nepean Rd (before the start line). If your being dropped off like me, it will be best to drive into Sorrento via Melbourne Rd and turn right down Coppin Rd as there is room to stop and unload, uturn back onto melb Rd. With the guys that are busing it up... whats the ETA into Sorrento. Wayne |
